Decision to spend from the Property Services Estates Capital Works Programme to upgrade the electrical distribution boards at Ross-0n-Wye Library
The latest condition survey called for
replacement of the end of life main electrical distribution
boards.
Melcon Hereford Ltd have been identified as the bidder
representing
best value for money following a competitive tender and
assessment
process in accordance with Council procurement procedures.
Quotations
were invited from three prospective companies and two returned
a
valid quotation for consideration.
The work to be awarded to Melcon Hereford Ltd at a cost of
£11,055
out of the £25,000 capital budget.
There is also a boost to the local economy as Melcon Hereford Ltd
are a local contractor.
