The construction of the haul road will provide NMITE with the required access to undertake construction activities in relation to the new educational campus over the construction period, whilst allowing the planned infrastructure for the North Magazine to be developed.

Three quotations have been secured for carrying out the work via the pro contract system. The Council’s contract procedure rules have been followed with support from the Commercial team. Owen Pell Limited scored highest in the evaluation exercise.
The tender is based on a 6 week delivery period.
