Yazor Flood Alleviation Scheme Reinstatement Works

Yazor Flood Alleviation Scheme was completed in 2012 but suffered an extreme flood event very soon after opening that caused extensive damage to the outfall zone. Remedial works were carried out that involved installing large boulders to stabilise the ground and create a track using hardcore material to allow vehicles access to the outfall. These works involve reinstating the ground to an acceptable level and making the ground safe for walking.
