Local Management of Schools - Scheme amendment
The Department for Education has advised that
the Consistent Financial Reporting guidance does not permit schools
revenue funding to be transferred to capital in advance of spend.
This requires that the Committed Revenue balances category is
implemented and removed from the 20% balance clawback calculation
within the Local Management of Schools Scheme (LMS). Local
Authority school members of Schools Forum is asked to approve the
change for the 2022/23 financial year.
