C F Roberts Electrical and Mechanical Services have been identified as the
bidder representing best value for money following a competitive tender
via the SouthWest Portal and assessment process in accordance with
Council procurement procedures. Tenders were invited from four
contractors and only one valid tender was received for consideration. The
work is to be awarded to C F Roberts Electrical and Mechanical Services
with a tender value of £59,980.00.

C F Roberts Electrical and Mechanical Services were successful in the
previous competitive tender for similar works so we know they are
competitive and provide quality.

The works will offer a cost saving in energy usage, reduce carbon
omissions and reduce maintenance requirements. There is also a boost to
the local economy as C F Roberts are a local contractor.
