This record of officer decision alters the allocation of the spend
on structures works set out above, and replaces it with drainage
and surfacing works set out below. This is primarily due to the
inability to undertake these structural works during environmental
embargos that restrict permissible access to these schemes. These
embargos will be in place until early March, thus not allowing
enough time to mobilise and effectively deliver all works before
the end of this financial year.
These structures schemes will be considered for next year’s
annual plan, when access is permissible and the drainage and
surfacing works will replace these structural works. The drainage
and surfacing are high priority schemes which would be considered
for delivery as part of next year’s annual plan.
The overall spend on the Pothole and challenge fund works is
unchanged.
Elements of the structures works budget to be changed are as
follows:
Scheme Original budget New Budget Budget to be re-allocated
B4224 Mordiford Bridge Parapet 250,000 £50,000 200,000
C1011 Kinsham deck replacement Phase 2 £600.00 £575,000
£25,000
C1001 Buckton deck replacement Phase 2 £600,000
£575,000 £25,000
Red Lion B4352 £200,000 £50,000 £150,000
U91416 Hunton Bridge/road £200,000 £0
£200,000

Thus releasing £600K of budget for re-allocation.
