SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF EXEMPT INFORMATION

Members of the Council’s Regulatory Sub-Committee considered the above appeal, full details of which appeared before the Members in their agenda and the background papers.

Prior to making their decision the Members heard from the applicant and Fred Spriggs, representing the Licensing Authority.  The applicant explained to the committee how he submitted his application by post and could not account for its late arrival. He further explained this was the first incident despite owning a number of cars and had been in the trade for a considerable time. He reassured members that it would not happen again.

Having carefully considered those matters brought before them, the Sub-Committee were of the opinion that the application be allowed as follows.

RESOLVED

It is the decision of the Sub-Committee that the application be allowed and the licence granted.
