Minutes:

Regulatory Sub Committee was convened in order to determine an application to vary an existing licensed premises gaming machine permit in respect of the Grandstand, Grandstand Road Hereford.

Prior to making their decision the Members hear from Fred Spriggs, representing the Licensing Authority and the general Manager for Green King Retailing Ltd.

It referred and gave weight to the appropriate statutory provision, best practice and evidence put before it by all parties.

The applicant confirmed that the application was not for a fruit machine but for a category C skill crane, common with pub operators. The Grandstand is primarily a food business and the crane machine location was confirmed as at the end of a fully managed bar.

There were no questions form the committee.

RESOLVED

The Regulatory Sub-Committee grants this application for a further gaming machine to operate within the premises as located on the site plane as shown on page 17 before us. The Committee wishes to be clear that in doing so it has granted permission for a further category D machine only.
