SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF EXEMPT INFORMATION

Members of the Council’s Regulatory Sub-Committee considered the above application, full details of which appeared before the Members in their agenda and the background papers.

Prior to making their decision the Members heard from the applicant, and Joanna Barber, representing the Licensing Authority.

RESOLVED:

It is the decision of the Sub-Committee that the application be allowed, subject to the following conditions:-

·        The licence plate P059 remains personal to the applicant. In the event of it being sold a new application must be made and any appropriate fee paid.

·        For avoidance of doubt, no fee for referral of this matter to committee will be agreed.

Note:

1.     That on changing business addresses it is good practice for proprietors to notify Royal Mail to avoid confusion.

2.     The applicants long good record regarding renewal of licence plates stood much to his credit. This weighed heavily in his favour.

The Committee confirmed that a written copy of the decision would be issued to the applicant by the Licensing Authority.
