To receive an oral update from Anne Heath, Head of Integrated Services and Inclusion, on progress made with the Children and Young People’s Plan. 

To discuss the attached paper about proposed changes to the EYDCP’s role, function, and constitution (Minute 591 refers).  Members will be asked to consider these issues in groups, including specific recommendations about membership and how representatives will consult/feed back to their constituents. 

To note the attached report on the current budget position for the year 2006/07. 

To note the attached report on shared funding arrangements with local authorities. 

To note the current position in relation to Nursery Education Funding.

To receive an information report from Bryan Twitty, CIS Manager, and Ros Hatherill, Early Years and Childcare Manager, about childcare placements and the new requirements in relation to targets. 

To note that the next meeting of the EYDCP will be held on Thursday 07 December 2006 at 7:00 p.m. (venue to be confirmed).
