• The Marches Makers Steering Committee
is a community group supporting and showcasing local art works in
and around Kington. They are working with Rachel Ricketts, a local
internationally recognised sculptor, to make and erect a public art
works sculpture entitled 'Fly: the Walking Dog of Kington' and have
approached the council for consent to erect this outside the Museum
in Mill Street, Kington
• Planning and Conservation Area Consent has been applied
for
• The bronze figure will sit on a locally quarried sandstone
plinth with a footprint measuring approx. 2.0m x 2.0m
