The current equipment at several of these sites is old and was too
sophisticated for the requirements. All five sites will have the Nortech
NX12 4G AC powered RTU with battery backup, SIM card and iHost cloud monitoring service installed that will provide the level of monitoring we need at a reduced cost.

MetroRod have been identified as the bidder representing best value
for money following a competitive tender and assessment process in
accordance with Council procurement procedures. Quotations were
invited from four prospective companies and only one returned a valid
quotation for consideration.

The work to various locations throughout Herefordshire to be Awarded to
MetroRod at a cost of £12,646.00.

The overall budget of £29k (residual from the three year budget) is also
