Significant remediation work has already taken place on the North Magazine, including extensive ground investigations and earth movement/sifting in preparing the site for further development. Detailed design (including utilities installation) has now also been completed following the masterplanning exercise carried out in Summer 2020. The installation of electricity to the identified plots forms an essential part of preparing the land for sale and development.

SSE Contracting Limited have been identified as the preferred supplier to carry out the work. The opportunity was advertised via an open procurement exercise via pro-contract. Of the five responses received, SSE Contracting Limited scored highest against combined cost and quality.
