Purpose:
A programme of pre-surface dressing
preparation works on C and U class rural roads across the county
commenced in October 2023, funded from a £2.558 million
Department for Transport grant.
27 of the initial 29 schemes identified by Officers have been
progressed to date within identified budgets. A further scheme has
been identified as being deliverable with the addition of
£40k of other LTP retained budget, with the funding being
available due to lower than budgeted spend during 2023/24 and the
use of £60k of gainshare.
