• The decision for ‘Hereford Heat Network – Detailed Project Development’ was passed on 18th February 2019.

• The original variation signed 01st February 2021 runs up to 31st December 2021. The ‘no cost extension’ will extend the project to the 31st March 2021.

• The project is assessing the potential of small heat networks, particularly furthering work already carried out around the possibility of heat networks for the Plough Lane building and at Skylon Park whilst also assessing other corporate sites.

The funder Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), have agreed to the additional works to be carried out utilising the underspend.
