Record of Officer Decision - May Fairs - Hereford and Leominster
The Hereford May Fair was established in 1121
by royal charter and
Leominster fair was referenced in a 1685 charter.
It is recognised that these street fairs create a unique atmosphere
and represent a part of the heritage of Hereford and Leominster
attracting both local residents and visitors from further
afield.
