THAT

a)                  the proposals in the Local Government White Paper, Strong and prosperous communities be noted and initial consideration be given to their implications for the Council and how it may need to respond.

b)                 A seminar for all members to be arranged; and

c)                  The report and appendices presented at Cabinet to be circulated to all Members.
