The Herefordshire Agreed Syllabus Conference is an occasional body which must be convened to produce and recommend an Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education.  The Conference is comprised of four groups or ‘committees’ representing, respectively: Christian denominations; the Church of England; such associations representing teachers and the local education authority. Meetings are open to the public and press.
