To receive and consider the recommendations of the General Overview and Scrutiny Committee which met on 9 November 2012.

THAT:

(a)     Cabinet, having considered the recommendations made by the General Overview and Scrutiny Committee, as set out in the report to Cabinet ratified its decision taken on 31 October, reference number 2012.CAB.084, concerning the variation of the Retail Quarter Development Agreement;

(b)     the Monitoring Officer review the issues of disclosure of commercial confidentiality and report back to a further meeting of Cabinet.

1. On 9 November the General Overview and Scrutiny Committee reviewed the Cabinet decision to vary the terms of the Retail Quarter Development Agreement under the call-in procedures in the Council’s Constitution.

2. The recommendations as set out in the appendix are to ensure that Cabinet considers the views formed by the Committee.
