Award a contract to J. Harper & Sons for the works at Lady Hawkins School,
Park View, Kington, Herefordshire, HR5 3AR, following a successful tender
on the Council’s procurement portal. The contract is for construction of a
new single-story accessible extension with associated external access works,
including internal and external platform lifts, together with internal
alterations and refurbishment to existing classrooms and ancillary
accommodation, including door widening and finishes upgrades.
Approve the expenditure of up to £711,593.87 for the works, which includes
a contingency of up to £46,552.87
Approve the expenditure of up to £38,804.60 for internal and external
professional fees.
Responsibility for monitoring the programme to be carried out by the Capital
Project Manager within the spend budget
