In relation to the Council’s new
property maintenance and cleaning service contract which is
currently being procured for a term of up to 2 years, the Council
has decided to underwrite certain pension costs and liabilities
arising in connection with the anticipated membership of the Local
Government Pension Scheme by the appointed contractor for this
service.
