Purpose:

Decision:
That (a) the original decision be confirmed subject to ongoing consultation;
(b) revised charges be introduced from early 2004 and;
(c) a full review of the car parking strategy be undertaken and arrangements for this be put in hand as soon as practicable
Reasons for the decision:
The countywide parking strategy requires an annual review of charges and sets the parameters for that review.
Changes are required to the Ledbury car park order to bring it into line with other car parks in the county and to ensure the other terms of the order are enforceable.
A clear definition of Christmas concessions is needed.
To take account of the Environment Scrutiny Committee request that a full review of the car parking strategy be carried out.
