Purpose:
To approve the selection of the new waste collection contractor for Herefordshire Council.

THAT:
(a) Focsa Services (UK) Ltd be approved as the preferred supplier of Herefordshire’s Waste Collection contract.
Reasons for the decision:
The recommendations seek to ensure that Herefordshire Council will continue to provide a refuse collection service that meets its statutory duties and provides the best possible levels of service and significantly improves recycling rates through the new wheeled bin recycling scheme.
