Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) - To approve spend and delegate officer
The objective of the AQMS project is to update
the following locations with DEFRA approved air quality monitoring
equipment at the air quality monitoring station (AQMS) on Victoria
Street, Hereford and to expand the network to include a second AQMS
The budget of £192,000 was approved by Council on the 12th February 2021.
This non key executive officer decision is to approve the following:-
a. To approve the spend of £192,000 as per the attached business case and budget split.
b. To delegate the operational work of this project to the Assistant Director for Regulatory Environment and Waste.
c. To nominate the Senior Project Manager as spend manager of the project.
d. To confirm that the location for the Leominster AQMS will be location 1 as defined in the attached business case.
e. To procure and organise the supply of the equipment for both locations by March 2022.
