The Cycle Project at Hereford Leisure Centre went out to tender in
March 2022. The process was agreed by the two main funding
providers Sport England and Herefordshire Council. The project
construction contract was subsequently awarded to OwenPel Limited
(based in Hereford) for a sum of £1,025,000. The project
commented on 27th November 2022 and is due for completion early in
August this year.
We are therefore satisfied that a sufficient tendering exercise has
been completed in accordance with Herefordshire Councils Contract
Procurement Rules (CPR).
Responsibility for monitoring the project and managing expenditure
within the total spend budget is to be with the S106 Programme
Manager.
