Decision to allow residents of Edgar Street, Hereford to be included within Zone E resident parking permit zone.
A small number of residents of Edgar Street,
Hereford have no off road parking for their properties. In December
2018 side streets adjacent to Edgar Street were restricted in use
to residents only, though this did not include properties in Edgar
Street. This has resulted in a severe lack of parking options for
Available kerb space within zone E has been identified which may accommodate the needs of these residents. However, whilst the impact is expected to be limited, care must be taken to ensure that the inclusion of more residents into this zone it does not create an oversubscription and affect existing zone E users.
An up to six month trail of this change took effect from December 2019, as no issues were reported this have now been made permanent.
