Following changes to Governments guidance, the registration service are now able to recommence birth registrations within the county.

A corporate risk assessment on the Town Hall risk assessment has been completed and has been sign off by the Chief Executive

Measures have been introduced to ensure that the registration process can take place in a controlled way in order to both protect Council employees and families. Both risk assessment and safe system of work have been signed off by Health and Safety team

Birth registrations taking place by appointment only.

Death registration will continue to take place over the telephone.
