Revised capital budget for Ross Enterprise Park - Phase 1 Development Project

To request a revised capital budget for Ross Enterprise Park – Phase 1 Development Project, increasing the approved capital budget allocation from £7.07m to £11.57m.

The project has completed the detailed design stage and a detailed cost plan based on sub-contractors' tenders has been produced by the principal contractor confirming that scheme costs exceed the budget approved by Full Council in February 2018. The decision paper requests a revised capital programme budget allocation, and approval of development arrangements of the first phase of employment land at Ross Enterprise Park. This is to reflect the increase in scheme costs from £7.07m to £11.57m and to reflect the offer of a £4.5m LEP grant towards the scheme. The scheme aims to release 8.5 acres of serviced employment land and create up to 250 jobs.
