Purpose:
One of the Council’s strategic
objectives for the management of immediate impact of the
coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic is to ensure sustainability of adult
social care during the coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic, and that
planning and actions to sustain adult social care and support
wherever possible with planning and actions in the NHS. This is
against a backdrop of increasing demand and reducing capacity due
to staff absences as a result of sickness and
self-isolation.
