1. The land comprises a small area being the building footprint.

2. The sale is to the Trustees of the Ledbury Rifle and Pistol Club for the sum of £7,500. They already own the building and have had a ground lease of the land which has 6 years unexpired at a rent of £300 per annum.

3. The surrounding site was transferred by way of freehold community asset transfer to Ledbury Rugby Club in 2015 but the Rugby Club did not want to take on the Rifle Club tenancy as landlord.

4. The Ledbury Rifle and Pistol Club did not meet the criteria for a Community Asset Transfer but purchasing the land would enable them to secure a long-term future at this location and access funding for development.
