Decision:
The day opportunities contract delivered by
the provider Brandon Trust will cease on the 30/06/17.
The current service users, learning disabled adults with assessed
eligible needs, will have the option to choose their future
services from the specialist community activities framework which
hosts a number of providers who deliver community based day
services. These day activity placements are purchased on a spot
arrangement.
This framework was developed as a result of a decision
15/07/16.
There are a number of providers available through this framework.
There is also the option for providers to use the current council
buildings which the existing provider uses, subject to the approval
of property services.
The council buildings currently in use and potentially available
are;-
- The Old Priory, Leominster (shared occupancy).
- Bridge Street Workshop, Leominster.
- Widemarsh Children's Center, Hereford.
-The Ryfields Centre, Ross On Wye, (shared occupancy).
Any use of council promises will be subject to formal licenses via
a rental agreement and include recharges for utilities internal
repairs and maintenance.
